DNR 'Sharing the Love', DNR Corporation's Real Proof of Action to Indonesia

A corporation's tangible proof for the people in need is an integral part of the corporation's social action. In this case, DNR Corporation has conducted a variety of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as a direct action to answer the needs of the community in need.

The background of CSR activities is inseparable from the corporation's obligation to provide a real sense of social and moral responsibility to the community. Not only that, making contributions that have an impact on the sustainability of life in the community on a daily basis is also the basis for corporations to carry out these activities.

With this background, DNR Corporation through the DNR Berbagi Kasih Foundation contributes through a series of social actions that have been carried out for people in need. "DNR Corporation's CSR activities are an important part for corporations to be present to help the community and is a real action to directly reach out to every need of the community," said Mrs. Julie Tanoesoedibjo as Chairperson of the DNR Berbagi Kasih Foundation.

Sharing Love for Natural Disaster Victims

A series of CSR activities have been carried out by DNR Berbagi Kasih in helping to ease the burden on people in need, including through humanitarian actions in helping people affected by natural disasters, around April 2019, DNR together with the East Java Alumni Papuan Community Association (IMAPAL) held a social service in the form of mass treatment for victims of Lake Sentani overflow who live in Puay, Jayapura Regency, Papua. In this social activity, DNR also provided basic food assistance to the community around Puay in the form of 418 cartons of mineral water and also 320 packages of rice @ 5kg.

Not only that, DNR CSR also helped communities affected by disasters in February 2021 by providing 2,500 rice boxes for 3 days to communities in Perum Total Persada, Tangerang, which was affected by flooding. The rice box packages were distributed directly to the community and also at the evacuation site for residents affected by the disaster.

Most recently, in mid-April 2021, DNR provided assistance to the people of NTT who were affected by floods, landslides, and high waves. With a total of 5 tons (5,000 kg) of rice along with 600 boxes of mineral water which has a total of 28,800 drinks and 450 boxes with a total of 4,500 sachets of RBM Goat Milk, aid was directly distributed to the affected communities. Not only in the form of food needs, DNR also provided other assistance such as children's toiletries, vitamins, and medicines as well as other staple foods such as 30 kg of cassava and 120 kg of cassava.

Sharing Love for Communities Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic

In addition, along with the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak that hit Indonesia, the corporation is also concerned about the existing pandemic situation. DNR Corporation responded through the action of CSR activities aimed at easing the burden on communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting on March 28, 2020, DNR Corporation held a sharing activity for online motorcycle taxi drivers passing through Jakarta. In this activity, DNR provided rice and also RBM Goat Milk to Online motorcycle taxi drivers which can be useful to support their basic daily needs during the pandemic. The next Sharing Love activity carried out by DNR, on April 15, 2020, DNR helped community members affected by the pandemic by distributing hundreds of packages of staples such as rice and RBM Goat Milk in several places spread across Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Depok, and Tangerang.

Not only that, through the "DNR Sharing Love - Free Lunch for Jakarta Residents" activity, DNR Corporation until May 3, 2021 has distributed approximately 100,000 free lunch packages to the needy at 5 points in the city of Jakarta every day.

DNR Corporation also actively helps and supports government programs in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, on June 30, 2020 at the Army Headquarters of the Republic of Indonesia, assistance of 5,000 COVID-19 Rapid Test kits and also 50,000 goat milk RBM Goat Milk were given directly by Mr. Rudy Tanoesosedibjo as President Director of DNR Corporation to General Andika Perkasa as Chief of Staff of the Army.

In addition, DNR Corporation has donated 150 Swab PCR test kits plus 100,000 sachets of RBM Goat Milk to the West Java Provincial Government which was received directly by the Governor of West Java, Mr. Ridwan Kamil. This assistance is a good step for the West Java province in reducing the spread of COVID-19 in West Java and helping people consume nutritious snacks through quality goat milk.
