BANDAR LAMPUNG, LAMPUNG - Last Tuesday, June 08, 2021, the Governor of Lampung Province, Mr. Ir. H. Arinal Djunaidi received a visit from Mr. Rudy Tanoesoedibjo as CEO of DNR Corporation at the Lampung Governor's Office House, Mahan Agung. During the meeting, Governor Arinal Djunaidi conveyed the potential and opportunities for cooperation that DNR could do together with the Lampung Provincial Government, especially in the agricultural industry sector, especially the Berjaya Farmer Card (KPB) program which was the idea of the Governor.

The KPB program is a program that can connect various needs in agriculture for farmers, suppliers, distributors, banks, consumers, to local governments and can also support the needs of the farmers themselves in farming, especially in terms of disbursing People's Business Credit (KUR). Through this SCP program, the availability of farmers' needs such as seeds, seedlings and fertilizers, to harvest and post-harvest handling can also be carried out. In addition, the KPB program also provides cultivation assistance for the availability of agricultural technology, capital, farm business risk management, and planting schedules that can be known by farmers.

At the meeting, the Head of the Lampung Province Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Office, Mr. Kusnardi, said that the implementation of the SCP program has currently reached 181,452 farmers who have registered until June 2021. However, this figure should be further increased if the technological infrastructure for the application of the current digitalization is improved so that it can better accommodate the needs of Lampung farmers.

Mr. Rudy Tanoesoedibjo as the President Director of the company expressed his commitment to support the program owned by the Lampung Provincial Government to advance the agricultural sector in Lampung through investment in technology system infrastructure and also through the procurement of probiotic organic fertilizers and high quality rice seeds for short harvest times.

"We hope that the disbursement of People's Business Credit (KUR) will be much higher than now, so that there will be no worries about farmers' needs for seeds, fertilizers and other farm production facilities. For this reason, we will optimize the potential of KPB in terms of technology system infrastructure so that it can be more easily used and connected to other agricultural ecosystems such as the Agriculture Office, KUR banks, saprotan (Agricultural Production Facilities) kiosks," said Mr. Daniel Kwan as Director of PT Bisnis Integrasi Global (BIG).
