JAKARTA - In line with the Government's program to accelerate the distribution of the Sinovac vaccine throughout Indonesia, Bio Farma, a red plate company engaged in the pharmaceutical sector which acts as an importer and manufacturer of the Sinovac type COVID-19 vaccine, is collaborating with private parties in the process of distributing the Sinovac vaccine throughout Indonesia.

In connection with this, Bio Farma entrusts and officially appoints DNR Distribusi to act as a distributor of Sinovac Vaccine, later DNR Distribusi will deliver Sinovac vaccine phase I (first) in 14 (fourteen) provinces in Indonesia. Furthermore, the appointment of DNR Distribusi by Bio Farma was marked by the signing of the Letter of Appointment of COVID-19 Vaccine Distributor by Bio Farma, represented by Ms. Sri Harsi Tetekhi as Marketing Director and from DNR Distribusi, the signing was carried out on March 05, 2021 at Bio Farma headquarters, Bandung.

Later, DNR Distribusi will use its infrastructure, in this case, cold chain warehouses that have been integrated and spread across 32 provinces throughout Indonesia and more than 850 (eight hundred and fifty) fleets that are ready to carry out the distribution process.

"We have gone through an assessment process from Bio Farma and have met all the requirements needed, as a company that carries integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions, we have cold chain warehouses and have a technology system called Digital Vaccine Management System (DVMS), where the technology can monitor the temperature and presence of vaccines. In addition, we have Static Reefer Containers and more than 850 refrigeration trucks that allow us to transport various types of vaccines throughout Indonesia while maintaining the temperature and guaranteeing the quality of the vaccines. This makes us worthy of being appointed as a distributor of Sinovac vaccines," said Mr. Jerry Tengker.

"In accordance with the regulations set by Bio Farma, the Sinovac Vaccine is very susceptible to temperature changes, and requires storage to be carried out in a place that has a temperature range of 2 - 8 degrees Celsius, with the DVMS technology facilities and systems owned by DNR Distribution, we have full confidence that we can complete all the tasks entrusted to us in terms of distributing the Sinovac vaccine throughout Indonesia," added Mr. Jerry Tengker.
