JAKARTA - The number of Covid-19 spread in the territory of Indonesia is increasing day by day, forcing the Government to impose rules for the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) in almost all regions, especially in Java and Bali from July 3, 2021 to August 2, 2021.

The government also continues to try to help people get through this difficult time, one of which is through social assistance. The President of Indonesia directly asked his staff to immediately distribute social assistance to people who are currently in dire need. For this reason, Perum BULOG in collaboration with DNR Corporation is currently distributing social assistance in the form of 200,000 tons of quality rice for additional PPKM Rice Assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs to recipients of Cash Social Assistance (BST) and Family Hope Program (PKH) to 20 million Beneficiary Families (KPM) throughout Indonesia.

"Perum BULOG is ready to carry out the assignment in distributing 200 thousand tons of rice to 20 million KPM throughout Indonesia. Each of them will get additional rice assistance of 10 kg," said Budi Waseso as President Director of Perum BULOG in his statement.

In line with the readiness carried out by Perum Bulog, DNR Corporation also expressed its readiness to assist the distribution of rice assistance carried out by the state-owned company. In its readiness, DNR Corporation prepares a fleet to an integrated distribution network throughout Indonesia to succeed the distribution of the rice aid.

"DNR Corporation through its subsidiary DNR Logistics will always support the Government Program and is ready to work together and synergize with Perum BULOG to succeed in the distribution of PPKM Rice Aid to help the needs of the community, especially during this difficult time," said Jerry Tengker as President Director of DNR Logistics.

Received the Trust to Distribute Aid in 15 Provinces

In 2021, DNR Corporation received the trust again from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Perum BULOG to distribute the aid from the government in 15 provinces in Indonesia. The 15 provinces include South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Belitung, Central Java, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Papua, and West Papua.

"With our experience that has successfully carried out the distribution of Rice Social Assistance in the KPM PKH program from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and Perum BULOG in 2020 in 15 Provinces in a period of only one month before, we are confident that we will be able to repeat the success of what we have done in the previous year," he added.

In the distribution process, DNR Logistics will be supported by a modern integrated distribution network and distribution infrastructure throughout Indonesia, the distribution digitization system developed by DNR Logistics plays an important role in the successful distribution of PPKM Rice Assistance.

Has Achievements in Social Assistance Distribution in 2020

It should be noted that DNR Logistics previously in 2020 has also successfully distributed the rice social assistance program for the PKH Program from the Ministry of Social Affairs in 15 provinces in Indonesia, which this year has the opportunity to return to distribute assistance from the government in the same area.

In the distribution of the assistance program in 2020, DNR Logistics has won the trust to distribute 15,195,318 packages with a total of 227,929,770 kilograms (kg) of rice in the 15 provinces for 43 days or within 6 weeks in the period September 16, 2020 to October 28, 2020.

In addition, the total fleet deployed for the distribution was around 27,000 trucks in the project. Even on the same date, DNR Logistics was able to deliver aid quickly and on target in 15 provinces in 1 day totaling 821,000 during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

DNR Logistics' achievements as mentioned have also received the inauguration of three world records recorded by the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) including the following:

            1. "Delivery of the Most Rice Social Aid in 1 Day"

            2. "Delivery of the Most Rice Social Assistance Packages to 15 Provinces in 6 Weeks"

            3. "The Most Rice Social Assistance Packages Delivered by Truck in 1 Day"

The success achieved by DNR Corporation in the previous period is certainly a good starting capital and provides a strong commitment to the success of the program run by the government in helping to meet the needs of the community during a pandemic outbreak such as the current situation.
